Hey Guys, I know not all of us are into the rich and famous.. But I found this to be truly disgusting! Kanye West took to the stage 'during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech' to steal her moment in the spotlight and have a good rant about Beyonce's Video being the best... See it here:

There are also many video's on youtube search key words " Taylor Swift, Kanye West, MVA's"
R.I.P to Patrick Swayze who lost his epic battle with Pancreatic cancer on Monday. He was 57 and starred in movies such as Ghost and Dirty Dancing. Another truly great man, gone.
In other more pleasant news, I got my best grade yet. a nice little B- (two grades higher than my usual C) :) weehee. Am very stoked.
Partying it up in the weekend :) Heading Home on the 19th with Becks. Waiting to hear from Ben, see if he has a way home yet.
Can't believe that in a week (a mere 7 days) that I will no linger be a young 20 year old chicky but instead be a mature 21 year old woman. Whew! Scary. I'm looking forward to it as well. But am also a little scared. And No I don't wish to do all 21 shots. I think I would Die. anyway, I better go soon, I have a class soon :) xoxo good bye for now, will write more soon. I promise. :)

Saturday 12th Sept: Lisa's Lounge
Hey, here I am sitting in the lounge. I've been practising my drinking and dancing skills. (haha) Oh and singing skills for karaoke... anyway. Thought I'd write a bit of an update since it was a while ago that I wrote on here. Firstly, Dunedin was AMAZING! Great place for clubbing, and got into a couple of places free... even though they had a door charge. (thanks to it being Tracee's 21st and one of the boy's is a member.. go figure!) Had a great time. Didn't really explore so much, headed to the Uni a couple of times. Tracee lives with some Gym Bunnies and Gym Person Trainers. Who weren't too impressed that I haven't been to a Gym in 2 years. Haha.
Anyway, Um, New Plymouth/ Home. Spent 6 days at Home. Visiting the family, and driving round the place. Stayed out at Pammy's (Kieran's Mum and Dad's) and had dinner with Liam and Pam.
Kieran drove back to town the next morning with me in my car. Unfortunately he hit a spot of sun strike and drove the car off the road. We couldn't get it out. So luckily a couple of people from Pukeiti Gardens were coming down the road at that time, they were nice enough to drive us to Pukeiti, so we could phone for help. (There is limited cell phone coverage up that way, and none in that area). So yeah, I called Mum and Dad. Unfortunately Dad couldn't come save us. And luckily Kieran's Mum had to number of their next door neighbour who has a tractor. We called him, and he came up in his Ute. Luckily I had left my dad's bright fluro vest in the back of my car. So I went up the road a little to stop cars/ vehicles coming down the road, and the guy from Pukeiti did the same, down the road. Kieran and the Neighbour pulled the car out. But now my poor car needs a few things fixed on it. It needs a wheel alignment for a start.
Went home on the Bus on Friday night. Arrived in Welly around 9pm. Neil came and picked me up. Came home. On that Sunday I went to the James Cook Hotel in Wellington city (It's at 149 The Terrace, I believe). The spa is called "BodyHaven"
www.bodyhaven.co.nz
$80 deluxe massage, full body, an hour. (Is well worth it.) ((Costs $65 with student ID))
$60 basic massage, full body, an hour.
((Student ID gets 15% discount)).
I went for the deluxe massage, which included deep tissue massage, as recommended by the host from Body Haven. As she suggested it may help my nerve damage. The next day my foot absolutely ached. But I felt so relaxed and I think i may have fallen asleep... hehe. Definitely worth it to go get a professional massage every once and a while. And Aunty Kathryn, the James Cook Hotel is amazing. The spa is on the 16th floor, they have a gym, and many, many conference rooms. It's flashy but nice. The Concierge at the door was a charmer. ;) hehe.
Not sure what the rooms themselves were like, I didn't see inside any. :(
My Foot: Still not right. (LOL, it's my right foot). Had X-Rays taken while I was in NP. No breaks/ fractures/ dislocations... just means it is nerve damage. I have an appointment with the Neurologist on the 1st of Oct at the Hospital here in Wellington. (Have to be brave and go by myself though.) Feeling nervous. And I think there is a fee. :( Dr Rich (My GP back Home) said he thought it was weird that the Uni docs hadn't sent me for X-rays, and that he wasn't surprised that my blood tests came back normal. he also thought it weird that they would send me to a Neurologist (Brain Doc- nerve signals) and not a Podiatrist. (Foot Doc). But yeah. We will see. I just wish they would get to the Bottom of it, and just get on with telling me what's wrong and what to do. It's so painful some days... when I limp so bad. :( and others there's little pain at all. It's definitely more painful when it's cold.
Uni:
Failed two papers, have a chance to resit them if I want, or get higher grades to pull them up. (D + B = C) C grade is needed for average to pass. I need 4/4 C grades to pass. (or better). so yeah, two D's in one day isn't fun. I felt very sad, and pissed off. But I now see what I did wrong and I can do nothing but improve. Am also thinking about joining a class that is specifically for essay writing technique. Might help.. A Lot.
anyway, it's a week out from my 21st party. Got to buy some chips and stuff before I go to NP with Becks. :) Another friend might join us, but wait and see how he will get back first... seeing we have Uni on Monday etc. Leave friday night. :) But yeah. I brought chips and dip, and carrots which i will cut into sticks to use in the dip :) (Genius I know). haha. Anyway, otherwise not much has happened. Changed my Birthday Location: in the invites. :) and on the 22nd? well PARTY! Clubbing in Wellington City. :) (Meet at my place, BYO drinks, then come to town and club with me!) <-- as in F.B. invites. Meet us in town, and see what happens. :)

Goals and Future Hopes
Well this year has certainly been one of interest so far.
I have spent a large amount of time brushing up on my skills as a web designer and have learnt that its not all that easy to actually work for someone expecting a high quality website.
I have gotten back into my music in a big way, joining the octet name Reson8 with whom i will most likely be performing in a concert this coming December.
I have learnt just how tough / hard it is to be half way across the country from the one you love, and decided that despite its downsides, i really enjoy every minute i spend with Lisa, which one could expect you start to take for granted when you see each other every day.
I have learnt that it is always the right time to forgive past arguments and move on from past hurts and fights.
I have learnt that a true friend remebers you as a friend even if you might have fallen out in the past. I have learnt the importance of keeping in touch with friends and family.
I have learnt to love more openly.
